Jewels & Mary Lou: I was hit by a drunk driver in Florida when I was 19...twelve years ago. I am a quadriplegic, due to brain damage. I am still mentally alert. I can only move my right arm and hand. I live with my mom, Mary Lou Rogers. I have caregivers who take care of me from 9-5, seven days a week. My mom takes care of me from 5pm-9am every day. I have become an author of children's picture books. So far I have written two of them. I dictated the storyline to my mom. She then had them illustrated and published. My first book is called The Princess and the Dolphin and my second book is The Princess and the Puppy.
